  • Has her employer ever hear of critical incident stress debriefing, after a catastrophic incident? Every nurse on her unit was probably affected by this. Why didn't they move the nurse to a non-clinical position for a while?

  • If the baby died from an overdose of IV calcium, she probably would have died from a cardiac arrhythmia in a few minutes. A death 5 days later is probably unrelated.

  • It is shocking, but NJ public school students only have to get 40% of answers correct on standardized tests, and they are considered to be proficient. That is an "F" as far as I am concerned. They have now made more, but shorter, stories for language arts section to give them more chances to pass.

  • Public school teachers in our small-town, backwoods school district in NJ make $70,000 per year in 10 years. In other districts they make even more. They work less than 1,100 hours per year. The school is empty at dismissal time, and they are not carrying any work home.
